To provide the residents of Daytona Beach with the highest quality customer service. This service protects Daytona residents' and business owners' health, safety, and welfare through impartial enforcement of the Land Development Code (LDC) and the International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC). Code Compliance emphasizes voluntary compliance.
Code Compliance strives to promote and maintain a safe and desirable living and working environment throughout the Greater Daytona Beach area. Our goal is to help maintain and improve the quality of our municipality by fairly applying unbiased enforcement of Florida Statute 162 and local codes to correct violations and help eliminate blight in the affected areas of the city. We will work closely with residents, neighborhoods, governmental agencies, and other City departments to promote a healthy environment.
Daytona Beach residents are interested and involved in keeping our city clean, safe and in good appearance for us all.
We are proactive in our enforcement efforts because our citizens want safe and sound neighborhoods.
We look forward to working with you to keep the City of Daytona Beach beautiful and thank you for your assistance with this goal.
Most of the complaints we receive are regarding high weeds or grass and junk vehicles left abandoned in yards.
As individuals, we can maintain our properties by keeping them neat, free from debris, outside storage, removing all junk vehicles in a timely manner and keeping our lawns mowed.
In addition, maintaining your property by keeping it painted and in good repair will ensure that we will all have neighborhoods we can be proud of.
