Don’t miss last weekend of free concerts at the Bandshell
Close out the summer enjoying the final weekend of free concerts at the Daytona Beach Oceanfront Bandshell. All concerts start at 7:15 p.m. There will be food trucks and vendors on site.
7:15 p.m. Friday
KIX Country 98.7 FM and Beach 92.7 FM present a performances by “Nuthin’ Fancy,” a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute.
Playing theaters, festivals and large outdoor shows, this band is a full-blown Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute show, complete with a southern rock front man, the three-guitar army, Honkettes backup singers, piano, bass and drums, and always ends with an encore performance of ‘Freebird!’
7:15 p.m. Saturday
The Friends of the Bandshell and Boardwalk Merchants present “Wall of Echoes,” a tribute to Pink Floyd. Fireworks will be after the show at 9:45 p.m. Saturday night.
“Wall Of Echoes” has played large venues and festivals and opening for “Cheap Trick” and “The Doobie Brothers” in front of several thousand satisfied audience members. Concert attendees should get ready to experience an amazing show featuring Pink Floyd's best classics including “Comfortably Numb,” “Money,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Time,” “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” and “Another Brick In The Wall.”
The Bandshell summer concerts are free to the public with the option to purchase VIP seats for $10 plus applicable surcharges. Guests are welcome to bring their own chairs to the concerts or purchase VIP tickets, which include a seat. VIP tickets are available for purchase online or between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Peabody Box Office at 600 Auditorium Blvd.
