The precautionary boil water advisory issued Friday afternoon has been rescinded for approximately 98% of Daytona Beach water customers, following two consecutive days of satisfactory water quality testing.
The advisory remains in effect for four small areas, which collectively represent 177 addresses. City crews are distributing door hangers at all affected properties to notify residents directly.
The areas still under a boil water advisory include:
- The Bridgeport Drive area on the beachside
- The area surrounding 1250 Beville Road
- The area surrounding 250 N. Beach Street
- 1808 Concept Drive
Residents in these areas are advised to continue boiling water intended for consumption until the advisory is lifted. Updates will be provided as additional testing is completed.
